From fabric and thread through sewing machine and now taking a spin on the mannequin…..the giant pink tulle skirt is complete!! This piece was made by hand as part of an outfit for an amazing photo shoot coming up in a just a few days. I CANNOT wait to see this on. It’s going to look so pretty by itself, although in the coming session it will serve as an underlayer for another, more textured overskirt. This piece is specifically for Portrait Couture, modern glamour sessions, and I envision SO many different uses for it. It could be paired with pretty bra or corset for a feminine and innocent look, or be topped with a jacket or cape for something more dramatic. It would also look amazing outside, either with a floral crown for an ethereal look, or perhaps with an art deco headpiece for recall an early 20th century look. With so many colors like pink and black being seen on bridal runways this would also be a great choice for a bridal glamour session. The skirt has a ribbon wrap waist band and can fit any size, so there’s no limit to who can wear the garment.
