The first time I walked into the exquisite Tate House near Jasper GA I swear my mouth dropped open. The delicious pink marble exterior is incredible but the architecture and features of the rooms are amazing. As I walked through the house each room and window presented a lovely photo location and I was planning this shoot in my head. Happily Trini’s shoot was coming up and we were able to create a beauty and glamour look with the venue in mind that was feminine, flirty, and timeless. Our inspirations in planning her shoot was Degas, Gone With the Wind, and Dita von Teese. Even though the light outside was overcast most of the day there was still a lovely glow coming in that really helped create a beautiful mood. The garments we selected included the pink “Marcy” skit with a pink satin bustier, a full black chiffon ball gown with yellow and black trimmed top, a floral headpiece I created, an exquisite pink tutu and embroidered lace and ribbon top, a plum silk Nicole Miller gown, a shirred ivory satin gown, and a vintage wedding gown. It was an amazing experience! There will also be a Behind the Scenes video coming, so stay tuned.
