It’s been a few years since Jenna and I first met at a photography workshop, but we hit it off and have kept in touch loosely through Facebook ever since. In the meantime we’ve both added Glamour/Beauty photography to our businesses so we’ve chatted more and decided to have a ‘play date’ to photograph one another. Sad truth: photographers are usually MUCH better behind the camera than in front of it! Nevertheless we decided to take our own medicine, as it were…..meaning, that we tell our clients to be confidant and brave and be willing to have lovely portraits created for their families. Well, the same is true for both Jenna and I–neither one of us has had a portrait made in, ahem, many years. She has a sweet husband and kids who deserve to have images of her in this stage of her life. And in my family, I’m usually taking the photos, and as a result are rarely in them.
So, we did it, and it was a great experience. Here’s the first sneak peak of Jenna of Jenna Leigh Studios.
